Page 94 Sustainability Report 2024 Health and safety are core priorities for PRT, which continuously monitors workplaces with the aim of reducing accident risks and protecting employee wellbeing. The Risk Assessment Document (DVR), prepared by the Employer in collaboration with the Head of Prevention and Protection Services, the Occupational Health Physician and following consultation with the Workers’ Safety Representative, is a key tool for planning prevention and protection measures and defining a continuous improvement programme for workplace safety. PRT S.p.A. has adopted an occupational health and safety management system compliant with ISO 45001:2018, achieving certification that provides a structured framework to improve safety, reduce risks and promote employee wellbeing. The system applies to the Beinasco production site and does not include the commercial offices located across Italy, given their lower risk profile, which nonetheless fully comply with national legislation and ensure safe and lawful working conditions. The Plant Director, together with the HSE office and the Head of Human Resources, plans activities based on the working context and ensures the maintenance of certification, supporting periodic system assessments through third-party audits. These audits identify strengths and areas for improvement, enabling continuous improvement actions. On an annual basis, the Plant Director also carries out a Management Review, analysing annual data and identifying any issues or nonconformities emerging from internal audits. The health and safety structure at PRT S.p.A. defines a hierarchy of controls and improvement actions to reduce accident severity, assesses occupational risks, and promotes health surveillance for all employees. Emergency management and health surveillance are part of the systematic measures adopted to protect staff. Employees have access to occupational health services either on company premises or through affiliated medical centres, depending on specific needs. PRT France, as a purely commercial office with eight employees, is not included in the ISO 45001 certification scope, as it does not present significant health and safety risks. 4.6.1.
