NEXDIA brings a new capability to PRT Group: making business, technology, systems and people work together, so that organisations become more agile, flexible and ready for change. Marzia Adorni leads the new unit.
PRT Group has announced the launch of NEXDIA, created to complement and enrich the Group's portfolio of services. NEXDIA develops solutions that make business processes more agile, flexible and ready for change.
For NEXDIA, agility is not simply about moving faster: it means being able to change without adding complexity. And effective integration is not about adding more technology, but about making what already exists work together.
Value lies in the connections
Over time, organisations have accumulated systems, platforms, data, workflows, suppliers and responsibilities. Each component may work well on its own, but value is created, or lost, in what happens between one part and another.
When connections are fragmented, complexity grows: exceptions, manual tasks, duplication, redundant steps and longer lead times. Sometimes it stays within the organisation; at other times it reaches the customer, in the form of a late response or inconsistent information.
This is exactly where NEXDIA works: in the connections. Between business and technology, between systems and people. It reads the organisation as a single system, identifies where complexity arises and designs how to bring together what currently operates in isolation, from the business need through to the outcome the organisation has to achieve.
Bridging technology and business
Marzia Adorni joins PRT as Managing Director to launch NEXDIA. After a PhD in Computer Science and an academic career as a Software Architect, she joined one of the world's leading consulting firms. There she led large, complex teams delivering IT services to major corporate clients, specialising in billing processes for leading energy companies. She has spent the past ten years on the digitalisation of CCM/CXM.
'My career began in technology, but it never stopped there,' says Adorni. 'Technology is my starting point. The outcome the customer needs to achieve has always been my point of reference. For me, that means looking beyond the problem as it is presented, to understand what result the company needs, where the complexity comes from and what has to change to deliver a better outcome.'
'Over the past ten years in CCM/CXM, I have seen very clearly how closely processes, technology and customer relationships are linked. If a communication is unclear, the problem usually isn't the content: it lies somewhere further upstream. Simplifying a process, improving a piece of data, eliminating a manual task or reducing an error can have a far wider effect: improving the way the company works and, at the same time, the experience of the person on the other side. This is the perspective I now want to take beyond the traditional boundaries of CCM/CXM.'
Independent choices, including on AI
NEXDIA does not sell a platform. It assesses what is actually needed: a process to rethink, a flow to fix, an integration to design, a technology to adopt or to avoid, or the involvement of a specialist partner. AI can create value, but on its own it cannot fix fragmented data, redundant processes, unclear responsibilities or under-used platforms.
'When faced with a new requirement, my first question isn't "what technology can we use?", but "what do we need to understand or change to achieve a better result?"' explains Adorni.
An offering that completes PRT Group
PRT Group brings governance and control to document and communication processes. With NEXDIA, the Group extends its offering to the connections between business, technology, systems and people, wherever an organisation needs them to work as a single system.
'At PRT I found a solid Group preparing for its next chapter, investing in young people with experience gained in complex environments. I didn't come here to teach anyone anything, but to pool different experiences and build something that none of us could build in the same way alone. NEXDIA was born out of this balance: not to erase what PRT already does well, but to take it into a broader dimension. For clients, it means working with people who understand the present but are not bound by the way things have always been done. That is what interests me most about NEXDIA: taking experience and turning it into the ability to look ahead.'
NEXDIA — Less complexity. More experience.
