SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2024

Page 100 Sustainability Report 2024 At PRT, we believe that a company’s success depends on its ability to build strong relationships based on trust and on clear rules—applied equally to everyone—fostering transparency and a sense of belonging. A central role in this journey is played by our Code of Ethics, published on the company website and shared with employees and collaborators. It sets out the values, rules and behavioural principles that underpin corporate life. The Code defines rights and duties, outlining the ethical and social responsibilities of each member of the organisation. It is a fundamental tool to ensure sound and reliable management and to strengthen the company’s reputation. In particular, the Code of Ethics incorporates the principles of the SA8000 standard, including respect for human and labour rights, protection against child labour and forced labour, workplace safety and freedom of association. Compliance with the Code is essential. It helps prevent irresponsible or unlawful conduct by providing a clear and shared framework of responsibilities for everyone in relation to all stakeholders—customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders, collaborators, public institutions and local communities—clarifying the rights, duties and responsibilities of all those working within the company. 5.1. Shared ethical values to grow together
