Photovoltaic Panel Plant and Use of Clean Energy
Thanks to PRT's participation in the call for tenders for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Enterprises 2024 issued by the Piedmont Region, as part of the broader European Green Deal project, PRT was able to equip itself with a photovoltaic system in Beinasco plant, against a non-repayable loan of €72,400.
Installed on almost all roofs, the system develops a power of 485.76 kWp, with 1,012 photovoltaic modules positioned on the plant's south-facing slopes. The energy produced will be used to power the production plant, reducing the withdrawal from the grid and contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions.

The system, built with SolarEdge technology, guarantees maximum efficiency by optimising the performance of each pair of panels. The system also includes SafeDC functionality, which ensures maximum safety in the event of power failures.
With this project, PRT strengthens its commitment to the energy transition and the reduction of its environmental impact, promoting a long-term sustainable development strategy.
In addition to clean energy self-generation, PRT is committed to purchasing energy from 100% renewable sources.
