Letter to the stakeholders Riccardo Pesce Chairman PRT Group Dear readers, this fifth Sustainability Report comes in a year in which we have consolidated many of our choices and, with honesty, acknowledged where we need to accelerate. Our direction is clear: to turn innovation into shared value: measurable for customers, people and communities. Our strategy remains anchored in five pillars: digital innovation, environmental sustainability, data quality and security, people empowerment, and strong local roots; which guide every operational and investment decision. On the environmental front, our results confirm the soundness of the choices we have made: in 2024, the Group’s energy consumption decreased further, with a 23% reduction in Scope 2 emissions and 96% of paper and envelopes sourced as FSC®/PEFC-certified. We also continue to recycle almost all of the waste we generate. These are tangible achievements, enabled by more efficient technologies, leaner processes, and a structured approach to circularity. Not everything is yet where we want it to be: in 2023–2024, we were not able to maintain the 100% renewable electricity sourcing that we had achieved in 2022. For this reason, we launched the process to enable on-site photovoltaic self-generation in Beinasco, a project to be completed in 2025 and expected to cover approximately 30% of our annual needs, and we have planned a purchasing policy that will restore a stable share of electricity backed by Guarantees of Origin. At the same time, 2024 marked a decisive step forward: we drafted and published PRT S.p.A.’s Climate Strategy, which sets quantitative targets to progressively reduce our emissions, reaching Carbon Balanced status by 2030 and full Net Zero by 2050, in line with the ambition of the Paris Agreement. This is a public and measurable commitment, guiding us in turning our energy choices into a concrete decarbonisation pathway. When it comes to people, our approach remains pragmatic: clearer welfare initiatives, targeted training, and a Gender Equality journey launched with the goal of certification in 2025. We continue to invest in health and safety, while strengthening governance and capabilities in key roles. These choices improve the quality of everyday work and the quality of service we deliver to our customers. Integrity and rules: our Code of Ethics remains our compass. In 2024, we extended our reporting channels to all stakeholders. Once again this year, we record “zero”: no reports submitted through the procedure, none from ANAC related to the tenders we participated in, and no corruption proceedings. It is a “zero” that matters, because it is built on solid processes, targeted training (particularly on anti-corruption), and shared accountability. Page 4 Executive Summary 2024
