68 PRT GROUP /SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2021 5.2.2. Training at the core In order to guarantee the correct management of safety for staff and information, PRT Group obtained some important certifications. Through these, the Group commits itself to maintain high-quality standards in providing services. Some specific courses were also organized for employees about the following international norms: - ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for the management of information safety; - ISO 9001:2015 for quality management; - ISO 45001:2015 for the management of safety and health; - AgID (Agency for Digital Italy) for compulsory storage of digital data according to norms. There are two types of courses: - External courses organized by bodies or specific professionals. These courses are usually taken in a classroom; during the COVID emergency they were done online through a platform provided by the company. - Sharing corporate competence with a manager, sometimes supported by an expert. This mode allows employees to become familiar with platforms adopted by the company, and interaction modes with the rest of the staff involved in working processes. Moreover, PRT Group provides focused courses in order to improve competences and enrich employees’ knowledge on specific topics about some specific sector within the company. After the GDPR regulation came into force in May 2016, PRT held a seminar about it so that managers and employees in general could know about the norms and their consequences. The seminar dealt with several topics, such as: the reasons behind the regulations, new rules, obligations to contact the controlling authority, and the Code of conduct. The goal was to know about the Regulation’s principles, verify the present status of security measures, and identify possible consequences in case of non-compliance. The same seminar was held again in the first term of 2022 in order to deal with those topics again, and verify the company’s actual compliance with the norms. In PRT, one of the crucial aspects is the competence of the Sales department. Each of its employees must be highly professional, when considering that consulting is more and more important and has replaced the traditional – mere – selling activity. From PRT Group’s viewpoint, a detailed knowledge of customers and their specific needs is crucial when proposing solutions. It is a very complex issue, that requires a targeted training and practical demonstrations of innovative services carried out by the Innovation Manager18. 18 Professional helping companies in their digital transformation process, by innovating internal procedures and improving the company’s competitiveness on the market.
