51 PRT GROUP /SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2021 - FSC Certification: its goal is the correct management of forests and traceability of derived products. - PEFC Certification: based on the respect of criteria and indicators defined by the Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe. Considering the UNI ISO certifications, and aspiring to have a comprehensive governance tool aimed at the constant improvement in controlling and streamlining corporate processes, PRT Group adopted a “Comprehensive System Manual”. This document was drafted in order to improve – in a progressive way – the management of activities about products quality, the management of environmental impacts and the protection of health and safety of employees. In order to express corporate value and the commitment towards a constantly growing quality, health and safety of employees, and reduction of environmental impacts, a “Policy for Quality, Environment, Safety, FSC and PEFC” was drafted. PRT Group requires its employees to know about this comprehensive policy, to apply its rules and principles in a responsible way and to take active part in projects aimed at improving internal processes. In the last four years, PRT Group has also obtained the EcoVadis certification. Its goal is to improve the environmental and social practices within companies, allowing them to manage risks and integrate green innovation within global logistic chains. More specifically, the evaluation of sustainability is based on 4 main pillars: - Environment; - Labor and Human Rights; - Ethics; - Sustainable procurement.
